This policy covers the Steplet mobile app. Steplet works without an account and stores its working data locally on your device. Step names, minimum actions, completion history, notes, coaching memory, personal reasons, reminder settings and timer state are not uploaded by Steplet to Here2Play or another service.

Steplet stores the information you choose to create: today's step and its smallest useful version, recent steps, completed days, optional notes, language and appearance settings, reminders, route and coaching preferences, and personal reasons or helpful starts you explicitly ask the local coach to remember. A timer can retain its action, timing state and selected coaching setup so it can recover after an app restart.
The coach runs locally. Steplet has no remote AI service, cloud account, advertising or analytics SDK, or tracking identifier. Your step content, notes and coach memory are not sold or shared by the app.
Daily reminders and timer-finish alerts are separate optional settings. Timer alerts default off. Enabling alerts in Settings can request notification permission; starting a timer does not request it. A running timer can schedule one generic local completion alert when the operating system permits it. That alert does not contain the step name, coach action, obstacle or available-time answer.
Without permission or with a blocked notification channel, no background timer alert is scheduled. The timer state remains on the device and its result is available when you reopen the app. Steplet uses no remote notification server, and the operating system controls delivery. You can change permission in the device settings.
You can delete individual coach memories or all coach memory without deleting progress. In Settings, Delete my data and start over removes saved steps, completed days, notes, coach memory, route preferences and any pending timer. Language and appearance remain so the restart screen uses your chosen format.
The app first saves the cleared local record, then asks the device to cancel its daily reminder and timer alert. If notification cancellation is incomplete, Steplet reports that and offers a separate retry. If replacing the local record fails, it does not report successful data deletion. An alert already delivered, or retained by device behavior, can remain in the notification center.
Removing Steplet normally removes its local app data, subject to the device platform's backup and restore behavior. Standalone Android builds opt out of automatic cloud app-data backup; some manufacturers may still transfer local data during device-to-device setup. Apple device or computer backups can include local data according to your Apple backup settings. These are platform actions. Apple and Google handle store, payment and diagnostic information under their own terms.
